While Florida wins top honors, earning first place on the list and the most communities with thirty-three, Hawaii and Texas also rank very well, obtaining seventeen and fifteen places respectively. The best cities in the United States for outdoor living:

Dwellics analyzed Data over 50,000 US cities to compile the report. Among the ranking factors are the number of parks, fields, playgrounds, hiking trails and other public outdoor spaces; number of trees and amount of free space; climate, including temperature, humidity, wind and cloudiness; air and water quality; and risk of natural disaster.
The top five communities for outdoor living in the United States share proximity to lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water, as well as plenty of parks and trails for outdoor activities. A recent report from Upwork, the world’s largest job market, reveals that as many as twenty-three million Americans plan to move in 2022. The increased availability of remote work is leading to a desire to move to areas with better access to outdoor and outdoor activities for many of these people. Additionally, according to a study by the Outdoor Foundation, more Americans than ever are participating in outdoor activities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
