Illustrated sports is not as high on the bills as you maybe … or anyone else.
Throughout the offseason, nearly every national media outlet has retained the top four spots in their polls for the last four teams football fans have seen play. This includes invoices, as well as packers, chefs and buccaneers.
However, SI has ruled that the Bills will only place in the top five in their preseason power rankings.
The Bills are the fifth-best team in the NFL with the 2021 regular season just around the corner:
Josh Allen took a big step forward last season, and now expectations at Buffalo are higher than they’ve been since fans wore Starter jackets to games. This team is good enough to beat anyone in their path.
Some praise for the Bills, but the real question is who beat them? The answer is the Rams, who slip into No.4.
But the Bills aren’t the only ones with some shade. The Packers finish behind the Chiefs leading the totem ballot. In most cases, the power rankings featured the Chiefs and Bucs in the top two spots. Not in Sports Illustrated.
At least the Bills still outperform the rest of the division. The AFC East finishes:
- 11. Patriots
- T-18. Dolphins (Broncos)
- 30. Jets
