Perfect Sunday afternoon for outdoor activities as the sun returns to the area – CBS Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After a day of rain and clouds, the sun returns to the Philadelphia area on Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly lower than normal and with lower humidity this should make for a very comfortable afternoon for outdoor activities.

If you’re on the Jersey Shore, you can expect a sea breeze and occasional clouds mixing in throughout the day.

The sun will continue on Monday as warm temperatures and humidity begin to return.

By Tuesday, the Philadelphia area will be back in the 90s and humid. Thunderstorms will roll across Pennsylvania on Tuesday with severe weather hazards.

Depending on the timing of these storms, the Philadelphia area can catch isolated severe storms in our areas, but at this point the timing seems closer to Tuesday evening.
