Obituary of Rosella Capesius Beauvais (1924 – 2021) – Green Bay, WI

Rosella “Rose” Theresa Beauvais, 97, of Green Bay, died on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home.
Rose was born on May 3, 1924 in LaMotte, IA to Frank and Anna (Lenz) Capesius. On June 19, 1946, she married Arthur Beauvais. He predeceased her in death on February 13, 1990. Rose was a telephone operator for Telephone Pioneers.
Rose was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity of Our Lord. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening, volunteering in Woodside, and spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her children: Gene (Cathy) Beauvais of Portland, OR, Greg (Susan) Beauvais of Atlanta, GA, Peggy (Kevin) Brice of Portland, OR, Jan (Mike) Hall of Green Bay and Jeff Beauvais from Austin, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and companion: Cy Kohlbeck. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rose was predeceased by her parents; her husband: Arthur; daughter-in-law: Joan Beauvais; sister and brothers: Celestine (Hank) Johnson, Robert (Mary) Capesius and Merlin (Rita) Capesius.
A family memorial service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at a later date.
