A refreshing and stimulating atmosphere

“You could say that this is just the natural continuation of what has happened in recent years; people love concepts, they are no longer looking for just one chair, they want the complete package,” says Baekelandt, referring to the evolution of design fairs over the past decade. Even before the pandemic, the trend for many manufacturers to seriously question the outcome of annual show attendance had already begun, more consciously prioritizing and thinking about how to present and promote their products in new, more innovative ways. and inspiring.

“We live in overwhelming times, and more than ever, we need to take breaks, far from noise, screens and social networks”

Anyone with any idea of the Belgian design scene knows that outdoor living has been the order of the day for many years. To PNA, visitors will discover brands specializing in the outdoors, producing high-end and contemporary designs. “NOA is commercial in the sense that all our partners are interested in growing and all visitors are looking for a solution, but the space is not a point of sale – there are no salespeople walking around; all required product information is made visible through small, subtle labels,” adds Baekelandt, underscoring the collective wish of all participating brands to establish a refreshing and uplifting vibe.
