STRAIT – Welcome to Memorial Day, Motown.
Tonight will be cool, not cold, under the covers of the nocturnal clouds. Tomorrow there will be a mix of sun and cloud with an above average high temperature after five days below average. The rain returns Wednesday and Thursday with possible thunderstorms as well. Summer conditions arrive Friday and this weekend.
Monday evening will be partly cloudy and cool. The lowest of the night will be in the upper forties in the 1950s.
Since it is dark between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. ET, on Tuesday, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible to the left of the moon in the southeastern sky.
Tuesday will be partly sunny and warmer. A southerly breeze will help raise temperatures until the upper 70s with only a minor increase in humidity.
Wednesday will be warm and partly sunny to partly cloudy. Afternoon rain showers come from the south and southwest, high temperatures reach the low 70s.
Thursday has a better chance of widespread rain, even a thunderstorm. It will be hot with highs near 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Friday is getting brighter and warmer. Daytime temperatures reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit or a little higher.
The pool weather and the beach weather certainly arrive on Saturday and Sunday. It will be partially or mostly sunny each day, and peaks will be between the mid to high 80s.
