Monday evening cooler, Tuesday warmer

STRAIT – Welcome to Memorial Day, Motown.

Tonight will be cool, not cold, under the covers of the nocturnal clouds. Tomorrow there will be a mix of sun and cloud with an above average high temperature after five days below average. The rain returns Wednesday and Thursday with possible thunderstorms as well. Summer conditions arrive Friday and this weekend.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and warmer. A southerly breeze will help raise temperatures until the upper 70s with only a minor increase in humidity.

Wednesday will be warm and partly sunny to partly cloudy. Afternoon rain showers come from the south and southwest, high temperatures reach the low 70s.
