Presented by Suddelink and produced by NC Expos, this year’s event will feature additional attractions including artisans and award-winning magician Dana Hill.
Hill, who resides in Goldsboro, has been practicing magic since she was 13 years old.
“I started making balloons in the restaurant business,” Hill said. “When I saw the joy it would bring to others, I decided that was what I wanted to do in life.”
Hill will perform live performances at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday and at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
“I will be doing rolling magic during the event,” Hill said. “All of my magic is family friendly and while the kids will really enjoy it, there will be entertainment for all ages.”
Located at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, the event will feature over 100 indoor and outdoor exhibitors showcasing their products and services. Special event-only pricing is available and prizes will be awarded throughout the show.
A craft market will also be featured with vendors offering handicrafts including art, pottery, woodworking and more.
The annual event also offers on-the-go items, such as yard art, wine, Tupperware, pillows and linens, snacks and spices, candles and skincare, for n to name a few. Local health and wellness professionals will be on hand to offer advice and disseminate information.
A pet adoption event will be hosted by the Colonial Capital Humane Society on both days. There will also be games for children, face painting and cupcakes.
Julie Alley, event producer for NC Expos, said she was very excited about this year’s event.
“The response from vendors and the community has been excellent,” Alley said. “I think the addition of the magician and family activities, as well as the craft market, will make this a great event for the whole family.”
Alley said she had 105 vendors scheduled for the two-day event.
