Who is Heima?
heima is a startup born and raised in the incubator of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, thanks to the relentless creative efforts of its young but experienced team composed of Mark Tosi and Marco Antonio Caporale on the hospitality side; and architect Paolo Danesi of Kengo Kuma. At its core, Heima combined the Italian founders’ flair for design and craftsmanship, combined with its sharp precision and detail-oriented Swiss identity. The founders are determined to revolutionize the industry with a bold vision: to make outdoor travel accessible to luxury travelers while facilitating their domestic journeys.
However, do not be fooled by the essential aspect of Heima’s buildings and its authentic values: more than 30% of the company’s resources are devoted to R&D (mainly based on clean technologies) allowing the company to ensure a unique positioning on the market for sustainable offers.
