Harbor Country Chamber Launches New Interactive Website Highlighting Outdoor Activities

The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce has launched a new website to promote all of the great outdoor recreation opportunities the area has to offer. The room tells us more:

Get out this weekend with Harbor Country’s all new interactive tool! Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce officials have announced a new site designed to showcase many of the outdoor activities and attractions on offer in the area. “We are fortunate to have a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities available year round in Berrien County,” said Kimberlee Wendt, Executive Director of the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce. “From hiking and cross-country skiing trails to parks and nature reserves and other hidden gems, this new web page showcases them all.”

Developed with a generous grant from the Antero Group, this online Story Map is a fully interactive web page that features 51 outdoor landmarks in Berrien County for you to explore. Web visitors can explore the outdoors with an interactive map that allows users to filter by category and distance from their location. Each point on the map provides a GPS coordinate for easy navigation to starting points and launch pads. It also includes an events calendar featuring must-see events across the region. The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce is the center of business, tourism, and commerce for the eight communities that make up the region along the shores of Lake Michigan. With over 400 members, the Chamber serves as a central source of information for business interests, community services and tourism. The Chamber requested and obtained a technical assistance grant from the Antero Group, a civil engineering, town planning and strategic consulting company that works to support initiatives in the region. This tool highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation as new events and spaces open up to visitors and residents!
