SOFTBALL

SOUTH GATE 22, GREEN BAY NEW LUTHERAN 1

GREEN BAY – Sophia Counard had three hits, five RBIs, one brace and one homer to lead the Eagles to victory over the Blazers.

Chloe Lustila had four hits, three RBIs and two doubles, while Nicole Norton added two hits for Southern Door.

Melanie Watters started a hitting game with four strikeouts to claim the win in four innings.

NEW LONDON 12, SEYMOUR 0

SEYMOUR – Paeton Kringel threw a hitting goal in five innings with nine strikeouts and zero goals to secure the victory for New London.

Kenna Mix went 3-for-3 with three homers and nine RBIs to lead the Bulldogs. Kringel led in two points and scored three.

COLEMAN 15, WAUSAUKEE 4

COLEMAN – Chloe Dufeck gave five hits and two earned runs in four innings, while striking out three for the victory for Coleman.

Michaela Zeitler scored three runs and had a triple, homerun and two runs batted in for the Cougars. Cameron Compe and Courtney DenRuyter added two RBIs each for Coleman.

BASEBALL

LUXEMBOURG-CASCO 1, WAUPACA 0

WAUPACA – Owen Deprez designed a no-hitter to lead the Spartans to victory over the Comets.

Deprez put out 11 batters from Waupaca.

Waupaca starting pitcher Jayce Koshollek was almost as impressive, allowing one run on six hits while striking out five.

Luxemburg-Casco scored the only point of the game in the fourth when Blake Robillard’s brace hit Deprez.

Tanner Alsteen, Max Ronsman, Jack Kinnard, Blake Yagodinski, Deprez and Robillard each had a blow for Luxemburg-Casco.

BAY PORT 14, MANITOWOC 1

SUAMICO – The Pirates had nine points in the second set and five more in the fourth in the win against the ships.

Theo Zeidler had a homerun and four RBIs for Bay Port while Eli Frank did a homerun and drove in two. Gavin Rusch and Matthew Perry, who had a triple, also led in two points for Bay Port.

Zeidler pitched the first four innings for Bay Port, allowing one run on four hits while putting out seven. Frank pitched the fifth inning.

Aiden Buck started for Manitowoc and took the loss.

SEYMOUR 6, DENMARK 4

DENMARK – Trailing 4-3 after four innings, the Thunder tied the game in the fifth inning on Marcus Jens’ treble and a passed ball and took the lead in the sixth inning on Jason VandenLangenberg’s solo circuit in the victory against the Vikings.

Denmark, now 13-1, loaded the bases in the seventh inning but couldn’t score.

Brett Tetzlaff took the win for Seymour (10-5), pitching 6⅓ innings and allowing seven hits and two goals. Jacob Woldt got the last two outs for the save.

Logan Paplham had a two-run home run for Denmark, Brennen Miller had a two-run single and Hayden Konkol had two hits.

KEWAUNEE 7, PESHTIGO 3

KEWAUNEE – Payton Kohnle drove in three points and Mitchell Thompson drove in two to lift the Storm over the Bulldogs.

Jacob Berth and Carson Paris each drove in one race for Peshtigo.

Caleb Schaller was the winning pitcher. In six innings, he allowed six hits and three runs, while striking out six and walking four.

FREEDOM 5, MARINETTE 0

MARINETTE – Carter Kriewaldt threw a full game, allowing just one hit while striking out an eight to lead the Irish to victory over the Marines.

Freedom, who beat Marinette 11-1, got a two-point brace from Tony Dietzen while Kriewaldt and Jaden LeCapitaine also had two hits.

Braden McMahon got the shot from Marinette.

SOUTH GATE 10, GREEN BAY NEW LUTHERAN 0

GREEN BAY – Christian Counard started the game with a home run and threw up a shutout with 12 strikeouts to secure the victory for Southern Door.

Aiden Vandertie went 2 for 3 with two doubles and Jack Peterson hit a homer for the Eagles.

Jack Henschel had a hit for NEW Lutheran.

CRIVITZ 8, LAONA / WABENO 6

CRIVITZ – Chase Gosse drove in four points to lead the Wolverines past the Hornets.

Tegan Werner and Dillan Gehm added an RBI each for Crivitz.

Connor Taylor paced Laona / Wabeno with two hits and two RBIs.

Sean Christiansen was the winning pitcher. In four innings, he allowed four hits and a run, while striking out six and walking one.

COLEMAN 3, ESCANABA 1

COLEMAN – Coleman scored three runs in the second inning and beat Escanaba.

Karson Casper pitched 5⅔ innings with nine strikeouts to claim the Cougars victory.

Ray Lemieux punctuated Coleman with two hits and an RBI.

GIRL SOCCER

APPLETON EAST 7, FROM FATHER 1

APPLETON – Lainey Higgins scored five goals for the Patriots in the out-of-conference victory.

Ellie Behnke and Sarah Wolf also scored for the Patriots.

LUXEMBOURG-CASCO 5, MANITOWOC LINCOLN 0

LUXEMBOURG – Heather Iverson scored three goals and Jillian Lynts added two to lead the Spartans to victory over the Ships.

Tabi Lemens recorded five saves and got the shutout. Lemens got a save on a penalty.
